2 Hours of TV??? I don't think so!!

This is a short installement. I promise to follow with more very soon, okay Janette??

You know your kid watches too much TV when she tells you a long and involved story about Candace..

And you ask. "Who is Candace?"

And she looks at you like your skin has turned green and she places her hand on her hip, kicks it out, cocks her head to the side, rolls her eyes and says, "Candace...is Phineas and Ferb's sisterrrrrrrr, DUH!"

Or when she is chasing her brother and his friend with what she refers to as the "Golden Pink of DOOOOMMM!" Which is the adorable pink lanyard from Disneyworld with the adorable trading pins that cost $6-12 each.

Or when she is sitting in the back seat of the car and she yells, "Mom, it's your money and you need it now!"

Or when she is about to scare her brother and she says, "I'm a bad, bad girl." and spanks her bottom.

Education!

With my youngest (Mark who is 10) I am in Pokeman DS hell. He thinks its important to tell me about what his Pokeman is doing, what it is evolving to, who he is trading it with, who is training it, I only partially listen because I have absolutely no interest in it - but of course it's important to him so I try to make it seem like its important and fascinating to me.

Times like this I should be an actress.

Thanks for the update!

Love, Janette

Addison still is mainly a PBS child, which I love, part of that reason is because we didn't have cable until our move to McKinney. But she has fallen in love with PHINEAS and FERB, which I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Do you even understand that show? I try to avoid that channel when surfing. Stick to PBS Addison for as long as possible! Caillou is so much sweater and he makes me think of Landry as a baby with the bald head, so cute!
